Interactive Diversity Programming
For Legal Organizations

— Your Audience Is The Jury —

Our interactive diversity experiences put your team—whether attorneys or staff—at the heart of the story, acting as a jury in a case dealing with issues at the intersection of race, class, gender, social justice, and the law. Since premiering Defamation in 2010, our interactive diversity programs have been performed over 750 times for more than 250,000 people.

Ask about tailoring our experience as a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit opportunity.

The Defamation Experience was quite an experience indeed. We had high expectations coming in, but somehow they exceeded them… The energy was contagious. And the reality of life’s toughest topics was presented with class. The moderator did an excellent job facilitating the post-show discussion and helped the crowd truly engage in nuanced discussions about things we encounter everyday but never talk about. On all accounts, the event was a hit.”

Just Cause: The Experience
Just Cause: The Experience is a ripped-from-the-headlines story set in the work-from-home world of the COVID-19 pandemic with backdrops like the death of George Floyd and the #MeToo movement. Your audience will engage together within a fully immersive & interactive experience.
The Defamation Experience
With 12 years running, The Defamation Experience brings a proven interactive diversity experience to your audience. The trial “holds our prejudices and assumptions under a powerful lens, and does not let go except by way of an unsettling self-examination.”

(5 Events)

A national law firm with 7 offices from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., our online event format has allowed Nossaman to bring employees together for simultaneous shared experiences on their yearly Diversity Day. We presented both Defamation and Just Cause to their firm across different offices and cities. Audience members were able to address how issues of race, gender, power, and more impact them personally, in their role as a legal professional, and in the justice system as a whole.

Our programming has been presented to law firms and bar associations across the country, including the state bars of Illinois, Nebraska, and Rhode Island, and the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association.

We’ve also presented to a diverse set of legal organizations, such as the Law School Admissions Council, the National Association of Law Student Affairs Professionals (NALSAP), and the Valley Community Legal Foundation in California.

Canamac Productions | 3-Phase Experience

Our proven 3-phase experience model begins by immersing your audience in the power of theater with a riveting legal drama. Then, they will act as jurors to decide the outcome of the case, followed by a post-show discussion bring the issues to life for them as individuals and as a part of your organization.
